Newly Launched Philadelphia Firm Integrates Cutting Edge Technology Into Complex Catastrophic Injury and Medical Malpractice Practice.
NEW YORK, Oct. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — CM Injury Trial Lawyers, a newly launched catastrophic injury and medical malpractice boutique founded by former Kline & Specter partners Frank Mangiaracina and Michael Cavaliere, has selected Parambil as its AI medical record review platform.

Parambil is purpose-built for complex medical litigation that includes medical malpractice, birth injury, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death. Using Parambil, firms may rapidly review and analyze large volumes of medical records, surface standard-of-care deviations, and produce comprehensive work products without sacrificing attorney oversight. For CM Injury Trial Lawyers, the platform supports the firm’s strategy of allowing its attorneys to focus on high-value legal work while the proprietary tech bolsters their already high standard of legal records review.
The firm, which opened in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania in late August, was founded with the explicit goal of building a technology-enabled plaintiff practice with strengths in winning complex, high-stakes catastrophic injury and wrongful death litigation. Parambil’s platform will serve as a key component in CM Injury’s technology stack and a compelling advantage for their clients and partners.
Frank Mangiaracina, the firm’s co-founder, said the platform extends work the firm already does rather than replacing any part of it. Frank said: “We have always won these cases by reading the records ourselves, and that has not changed. Parambil does not read the file for us. It makes sure nothing in it gets past us, and the judgment stays where it has always been. The difference now is the size of a file no longer decides how much of it we read.”
Michael Cavaliere, the firm’s co-founder, said advances in technology have changed what a practice of their size can take on. Mike commented: “We aren’t pursuing technologies like Parambil to work faster. We leverage these tools so that by the time we walk into a room, we know the record better than anyone else in the case. In the cases we take, we intend to be the best-prepared lawyers in it.”
The firm’s evaluation was led by Michael Smith, PhD, its Director of Technology, who spent twelve years at Moderna, where he led Phase I clinical manufacturing for the company’s COVID-19 vaccine and scaled the process for global emergency supply. He builds and runs CM Injury’s in-house evidence systems. Mike explained: “In manufacturing you cannot inspect quality into a product, you have to build it in. The same is true of a case, and of the firm around it. We had the unusual chance to design a practice rather than reform one. Parambil was built from scratch the same way, which is why it fits. You do not build an ordinary process around lawyers operating at the level these partners do.”
Sara Cordrey, CEO of Parambil, added: “CM Injury Trial Lawyers is building a modern law practice from scratch, with every tool on the table. They chose Parambil. That’s the clearest signal we could ask for about where plaintiff firms are headed.”
“Frank Mangiaracina and Michael Cavaliere bring serious trial experience to every case they take on,” Cordrey said. “We’re honored to partner with them and support that work.”
